Bread crumbs roll recipe

 Bread crumbs roll :  

Bread crumbs roll are bread roll stuffed with aloo masala, dip in cornstarch paste and fried in oil. It is generally served in breakfast. It  can be served with sauce and green chutney.


Ingredients :


  • 2 boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup boiled green peas
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander 
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger
  • 1/2 tbsp chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs



Method of preparation :

1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add onions, green peas, chilli powder, turmeric, salt, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute.


2. Add mashed potatoes and coriander, mix well and keep aside.


3. Combine cornflour, water and a pinch of salt, mix well and make a smooth paste. And keep the paste aside.


4. Spread bread crumbs on a plate.


5. Take a small proportion of masala and make roll shapes with help of your hands and dip it in corn flour paste and also dip the roll in bread crumbs.


6. Deep fry the rolls in the oil till they become crisp.


7. You can serve it with tomato ketchup or green chutney. whatever you like.
