Besan ladoo recipe

 

Besan ladoo : 

Ladoo is a sphere-shaped sweet originated from india. Laddus are made from flour, ghee, oil and sugar. It is made from the ingredients such as chopped nuts and other dry fruits. Laddus are mostly served on festivals or every occasions.




Ingredients :

  • 2 cups besan ( gram flour )
  • 1 tablespoon powdered almonds
  • 1 tablespoon powdered cashews
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered cardamom
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Method of preparation :


1. Powder the cashews and almonds.

2. Melt ghee in a pan, add besan (gram flour).

3. Cook on low heat till besan is aromatic and well cooked.

4. Cook for 5-8 minutes. Let it cool for a while.

5. Add powdered nuts, cardamom powder and sugar. Mix well.

6. Start preparing ladoos taking a small amount of besan and add milk if required, to moist them.

7. Serve later for better taste.
