Motichur ladoo recipe

 

Motichur Ladoo :

Ladoo is a sphere-shaped sweet originated from india. Laddus are made from flour, ghee, oil and sugar. It is made from the ingredients such as chopped nuts and other dry fruits. Laddus are mostly served on festivals or every occasions.



Ingredients :

For boondi :

  • 2 cup besan ( gram flour )
  • 2 tbsp rava ( suji )
  • tsp saffron food color
  • 1 cup water
  • oil for frying

For sugar syrup :

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cup water
  • 4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped cashew ( kaju)
  • 2 tbsp chopped pistachio




Method of preparation :



1. To the hot sugar syrup, add prepared boondi.

2. Mix well and coat all the boondi with sugar syrup.

3. Continue to cook for 2-3 minutes or until sugar syrup thickens.

4. Cover and keep aside for 10 to 12 minutes.

5. After 10 to 12 minutes, add 2 tbsp cashew and 2 tbsp pistachio and mix well.

6. The mixture is dried and all the sugar syrup has absorbed by the boondi. 

7. Start preparing ladoos taking a small amount of boondi and add milk if required, to moist them.

8. Motichur laddo is ready to be serve.

9. You can store it in refrigerator for 1 week.
